Churches and registry office:
Abbot’s Hall Weddings is a unique Wedding Venue in Suffolk situated on the Food Museum site in the heart of Stowmarket. Conveniently located within walking distance to the registry office and the two churches within the town centre, allowing your guests to easily move between the ceremony and your reception.
Civil wedding license:
We hold a Wedding License for a number of buildings and areas within the site to allow you to hold your ceremony and reception all in one location.
Independent Celebrant:
To give couples even more flexibility in the design of their ceremonies, more and more couples are booking an independent celebrant. This allows couples to have their ceremony in a location that is not covered by a civil wedding license or to give more flexibility to the design of their ceremony.
You will still need to visit the registry office to do the legal formalities, but couples that decide on this route see this as a formality rather than their wedding day.
Thank you so much for helping us ensure our day went exactly as we planned, the staff and yourself were brilliant, there were some really nice touches. The feedback we have received from all of our guests was nothing but positive.” – Abbie & Carnell
